WHAT IS A TREE SURVEY?

A tree survey is a detailed and methodical evaluation of the various trees located in a particular area or property.

The Process:
Carried out by skilled arborists, a tree survey involves a comprehensive inspection of each tree. Arborists examine aspects such as species, age, height, diameter, overall health, and potential hazards. They may utilise specialised tools to assess the condition of a tree.

Documentation:
After the assessment, a comprehensive report is created. This document outlines the current status of the trees, identifies potential risks, and offers recommendations for future care or interventions. It often includes annotated maps or diagrams that visually represent the locations and conditions of the trees, which are essential for insurance purposes and the safety of individuals on the property.
Upon completion of the survey, you receive a report detailing any defects found with the trees, recommended actions, and a reasonable timeline for the work–some tasks may be marked as urgent!

Types of Surveys we offer

Inventory Survey

Our inventory surveys are designed for expansive estates, including parks, golf courses, and large private gardens. This will provide you with a cursory overview of all the trees on your property.

The report will also identify any high risk trees and provide recommendations for work.

Health & Safety Survey

Health & Safety surveys evaluate the health and possible dangers that trees could pose to people and properties. This will go more indepth than Inventory surveys to identify abnormal features, disease/decay, mitigation recommendations, and a comprehensive report that includes a tree itinerary and map.

Climbing Survey

Our climbing survey is the most comprehensive assessment of your tree's health. We'll identify defects like weak branch junctions, disease, or decay, and evaluate the structural integrity. Your Tree Report will detail our findings and offer recommendations to minimize risk.
